We create QR codes using a web-based code generator.
We read the codes using a Smart phone, iPad

Next we used an app called 'quiver' to explore augmented reality and how it can be used in the classroom. the app allows for images to be downloaded and printed out; to then be coloured in by the children.
I downloaded a cow, coloured it in and was then able to interact with it using an iPad and the app. this could be used well in KS1 for children to explore different animals but there were also activities such as ho volcanoes erupt that could be used cross-curricular in geography while using the IT strand of the computing curriculum.
